The positive results for the first half of 2025 were presented contextually EcorNaturaSì’s 2024 Impact Report, a document that offers tangible evidence of the company’s continued commitment to the ambitious environmental, social, and economic goals that have defined its mission since inception.

EcorNaturaSì, Italy’s leading benefit corporation in the organic and biodynamic sector, confirms the positive trend for the industry. In the first half of 2025, the company recorded a 7.6% increase in revenue compared to the same period in 2024, while sales volumes rose by 5.1%.

Commenting on these results, President Fabio Brescacin, in an interview with Corriere del Veneto, ruled out the idea that growth is being driven by a polarization of consumers: “The price gap compared to conventional food has narrowed significantly,” he explained. “Fruit and vegetables have now reached high standards even in conventional supermarkets. If consumers avoid rushed, impulsive purchases, organic food is accessible to many more Italians than people might think.”

For Brescacin, it is more a cultural issue than an economic one — a belief that continues to fuel confidence in the future of the Treviso-based group: “The organic market in Italy is worth 3.1%, and we represent 1% of that. The growth potential is enormous.”

In 2024, the company expanded its footprint with 10 new store openings, bringing the total number of NaturaSì outlets to 330. The customer base also grew by 6% in 2025 compared to the previous year. The loyalty program accounted for 69% of total 2024 revenues, demonstrating a strong level of customer retention.

To support this growth, EcorNaturaSì has launched a €10 million investment plan for the renovation of 22 stores and 12 new projects, including openings, special operations, and acquisitions. In addition, through its logistics subsidiary Ecorway, the company hired 98 new employees in 2024 to support the reorganization of its supply chain and tech infrastructure.

On the social front, 2024 marked a major milestone: 90.43% of EcorNaturaSì employees now have permanent contracts, achieving — two years ahead of schedule — the company’s 2026 target.

When it comes to gender equality, the company has already exceeded its goals: women now make up 60.21% of the workforce, well above the 50% target set for 2026.

Finally, to support organic farming, some producers in the NaturaSì ecosystem benefited from an innovative bond loan, which raised €1.617 million to support organic farmers.
